Last night was the premier of the 2014 ArtPrize poster as well as the release of a commemorative book that chronicles and celebrates the first five years of Artprize. The party was open to the public and featured members of the ArtPrize team to speak plus some invited speakers. I attended the party along with my husband. I’d say a thousand or more others attended the party. I was recognized by a lot of people as the winner of ArtPrize 2013 who asked me to sign the pages in the book that featured my quilt. It was great talking to people and signing a few books and hearing other’s ArtPrize stories. Of course I am ineligible from entering this year (though my husband Steve will have an entry), but take a few days in late September and Early October to attend and enjoy the amazing diversity of artwork for all over the world.
